Washington, Sept 14 (ANI): US President Barack Obama has been advised to leave his golf clubs at home during his visit to Australia in November.
Obama has been advised to skip the Presidents Cup tournament in Melbourne, as it could prove to be a bad show at home.
The White House and the Julia Gullard government have confirmed that Obama would finally be visiting Australia on November 16 and 17, The Age reports.
Obama is a keen golfer and was the honorary chairman of the 2009 tournament. Reports suggest that Julia Gillard is the chairwoman of this year's event.
Obama had cancelled a trip to Australia last March due to a crisis over healthcare reform in the US, and then in June 2010 because of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. (ANI)
