Mumbai, Sep. 14 (ANI): Debutant actors Sachin Joshi and South African model Candice Boucher launched the music of their forthcoming film 'Azaan' here on Tuesday.
At the event, Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt along with the cast and crew members launched the music of the film whose title track 'Afreen' is already a hit.
This film is the debut production venture of actor, producer Sachin Joshi who had earlier worked in several south Indian films.
While interacting with mediapersons, Joshi said that 'Azaan' is a film that attempts to show the extent to which militants can cause damage in the near future and inflict pain on others.
"This movie is about biological warfare, portraying the future of terrorism. The way people spread terror in the name of 'Jihad' (religious war) but you will find newness in this movie that to what extent militants can go in future," said Joshi.
The music for the film has been composed by the music director duo Salim-Sulaiman and directed by Prashant Chadha.
"The backdrop of this film has an Islamic touch and we have considered this while composing the songs," said Salim.
The movie also stars South African model Candice Boucher, Ravi Kisan, Dilip Tahir and Prashant Chadha.
The movie is slated for a worldwide release in October 2011. (ANI)
