London, Sept 13 (ANI): Jennifer Aniston is said to have mended the rift she had with her mother after the 75-year-old ended up in hospital after suffering a serious stroke.
Aniston, 42, rushed to be with her mother Nancy Dow, a former model, who is understood to have been in a serious condition at a Los Angeles medical centre.
The actress, who was pictured very distraught and in tears, was accompanied by her boyfriend Justin Theroux to the hospital, but a source said he waited outside.
"She's in the hospital. She's fabulous, a very nice lady. She's also very private," the Daily Mail quoted a neighbour at Dow's modest North Hollywood apartment block as saying.
Aniston and her mother were estranged for more than a decade after Dow gave a television interview about their relationship in 1996.
She did not invite Dow to her 2000 wedding to Brad Pitt, which she described as a "tortuous decision".
Her mother brought her up alone after her actor father John Aniston walked out on the family when Jennifer was nine. They finally ended their bitter rift in 2008. (ANI)
