London, Sept 11 (ANI): Cheryl Cole, who attempted to re-ignite the flame with love rat Ashley Cole, has finally decided to 'cleanse' herself of her former spouse and move on.
The 28-year-old 'Girls Aloud' singer is starting a new life in the U.S. and is already searching for new love, with a friend setting her up on a blind date with a millionaire businessman in LA.
Cheryl is believed to have told friends that she has deleted Ashley's number from her phone, declaring: "I don't need him any more. It took me this time round to realise it and move on for good."
"Cheryl's finally made the decision that it's all over. She felt mentally drained from everything he's put her through and she partly blames herself for letting him back into her life," the Mirror quoted a close source as saying.
"She's completely cut herself off from him to cleanse herself of him, including deleting his number from her phone," the source added.
The news will come as a huge relief for her friends and family, who were horrified to see her forgiving the Chelsea footballer of his infidelity.
"What happened on the night of her birthday party was a blip. Since then she's taken time out again from him and realised she was wrong. She can't go back and try and right the wrongs of their marriage," the source said.
"What's done is done and she's got her head straight and realised it's time for a new Cheryl," the source added.
The source also said that her manager, Black Eyed Peas rapper Will.i.am, played a major part in the rebuilding of her life, her confidence and her career. (ANI)
