London, Sept 10 (ANI): Designer Karl Lagerfeld was so happy to have Dominique Strauss-Kahn back in Paris after his extended stay in New York City while being investigated for sexual assault allegations, that he sent him flowers.
"I love DSK. I love his wife," the Daily Express quoted Lagerfeld as telling the New York Post.
"They are great people, and when they came back to Paris, I sent them flowers."
He even said it is possible that his pal could still run for the French presidency.
"Even in America, [Bill] Clinton survived his bl*w j*b," he told the fashion website style.com.
Lagerfeld brushed aside a hotel maid's claim that Strauss-Kahn sexually assaulted her, adding, "He's a sweet guy-as long as you're not a woman." (ANI)
