London, Sept 8 (ANI): David Beckham's brother-in-law was reportedly left humiliated by his high-profile City job due to his failure to arrange meetings with the Beckhams for the company's clients.
An East London tribunal heard that Broker Darren Flood, 32, besides being made to feel inadequate for the office, also fell victim of racist taunts, as his grandfather hailed from India.
Flood, who married Victoria Beckham's sister Louise, said that he felt forced to resign from his 50,000pound-a-year job after he became a subject to verbal abuse from boss Tony Herbert at broking firm BGC International in London.
Flood, of Goffs Oak, Herts, claimed that he was routinely asked to set up meetings with the Beckhams for clients in Milan and Los Angeles, but when he didn't, he was made to feel unworthy.
"I was unhappy being asked to bring my personal life into the workplace. I did not want to exploit the relationship with the Beckhams. Whilst I said I would see what I could do, it never happened," the Sun quoted him as saying.
Flood also added that his boss was a "bully who had called him a ****." (ANI)
