London, Sept 5 (ANI): Actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who spent an entire night crying to her husband Matthew Broderick following a recent claim that suggested of her complaining about serving jury duty, has called the report a 'character assassination'.
An article in the New York Post had alleged that the 'Sex and the City' star was not keen on appearing at Manhattan Federal Court in New York to take part in jury selection for a fraud trial, as one of her twin daughters was sick with a fever.
And now the actress has opened up telling Marie Claire magazine that the incident outraged her entirely.
"For Page Six to be so cavalier - I was so outraged by the character assassination!" the Daily Star quoted her as saying.
"I have served so many times, I was asked to come speak at Jury Appreciation Day!" she added. (ANI)
