London, Sep. 3 (ANI): England has complained to UEFA after their black stars were racially abused.
Some Bulgarian fans reportedly made monkey noises each time one of England's black players touched the ball while others made Nazi salutes.
An FA spokesman said: "We've raised it with the Bulgarian FA and UEFA delegate."
Bulgaria's German coach Lothar Matthaus said: "It's shameful for things like that to happen. I'd like to apologise."
It is the fifth time England has complained to UEFA about racist abuse in the last 10 years. (ANI)
