London, Sep 3(ANI): British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton has denied reports of his engagement to American singer Nicole Scherzinger.
When asked whether there was any truth in the rumours, Hamilton said: "No, we are not engaged and there will be no wedding in the foreseeable future."
"Nicole was incredibly upset when the newspapers claimed we were engaged," he added.
The 26-year-old further said that he "lives, eats, sleeps and drinks" to win the Formula One championship title, the Daily Mirror reports.
With 146 points, the McLaren driver is currently in fifth spot in the championship table.
He is 113 points behind reigning champion Sebastian Vettel (259). (ANI)
