London, Sept 3 (ANI): A new survey has found that a typical woman keeps an average of almost 39 shoes at home to match her outfits on every occasion.
According to an MSN survey, almost 27 percent of the women questioned in the survey admitted to having more than of 50 pairs, with one tenth of them preferring high heels.
However, the after-effects of heels, which include fixation and injuries, didn't faze the women as almost 52 percent said they would happily bear the pain as long as they look good in their shoes.
While 47 percent of women revealed that they buy at least one pair every month, 15 percent admitted splashing out on a new pair every fortnight.
"Shoes seem to be one of the few things that can offer so much physical and financial pain and yet so much joy," the Daily Mail quoted Poppy Dinsey, an MSN style blogger, as saying.
"The MSN survey shows wearing heels makes women feel sexy and confident so as far as I'm concerned we should keep on wearing them," she added. (ANI)
