London, Sept 3 (ANI): Formula 1 heiress Petra Eccleston's fashion line Stark is all set to 'speak for itself' when it gets launched at next week's New York Fashion Week.
"It's not about me - it's not a Petra Ecclestone handbag, it's a Stark handbag. There's a huge difference," the Daily Mail quoted the daughter of F1 chief Bernie Eccleston, as saying.
The 175million dollar owner's range will include handbags and purses made of ultra-luxurious python skin, alligator skin and Nappa leather with gold studs or Swarovski crystals details.
The 22-year-old Londoner said while speaking with WWD that she hopes the collection, which is to be unveiled at Gramercy Park Hotel, will not be judged upon by her status only.
"[My background] doesn't change that I'm trying to be a successful designer," she said.
"Obviously people are going to have preconceived ideas that it's not me working, that I don't come to the office, like I do - I don't think you can ever change that,' she added.
The prices for the items will range from 495 to 4,795 dollars. (ANI)
