Nasser Hussain's 'donkey' remark draws sharp criticism from BCCI

New Delhi, Sep 2 (ANI): Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Vice President and MP Rajiv Shukla today termed commentator Nasser Hussain's jibe on the Indian fielders during the Twenty20 match against England to be inappropriate, and said the board would look into the issue.

 

"There should be restrain while making observations about players. Every player has to be respected irrespective of his performance. I don't think this comment was appropriate. We will definitely look into it," said Shukla.

 

Former England cricket skipper Nasser Hussain had equated some of the Indian fielders to donkeys during the Twenty20 match played between India and England in Manchester on Wednesday. (ANI)
