Washington, Aug 31 (ANI): Britney Spears will not have to hand over her medical record to officials at a branding company suing her for allegedly breaching a deal.
Brand Sense Partners bosses are suing the 'Toxic' hitmaker for 10 million dollars, claiming she double-crossed them by trying to cut them out of an attractive scent deal with Elizabeth Arden, Contactmusic reported.
Lawyers for the 29-year-old singer's lawyers filed a counter-complaint claiming the branding firm withheld money due to Spears for her Radiance perfume.
The 'Baby One More Time' singer will not have to take the stand in court as her legal team insisted she is not competent enough for a deposition, after the branding company demanded to see her medical records to prove she could not give evidence.
During a hearing at L.A. Superior Court on 30th August, Judge Reva Goetz ruled that the firm has no right to see Spears' health documents. (ANI)
