Washington, Aug 26 (ANI): Lenny Kravitz has revealed that he took inspiration from the lonely recording sessions in the Bahamas, as the solitude helped him get closer to God.
The rocker spent a couple of on and off years recording his new album, 'Black White America', in an isolated studio near the beach with none to accompany him except his dog in an Airstream trailer.
"I spent a good part of two years down there... There's about 400 people in my town," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
"I spent a lot of time alone and I woke up one day and this was a first for me; I realised that I was alone but I wasn't lonely.
"Something had shifted and I was really just communicating with God and listening to myself... and I just became comfortable.
"There's something to be said for accepting one's self," he added. (ANI)
