London, August 26 (ANI): Sir Sean Connery, who has not appeared on the big screen since 2003's 'The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen', will never come out of retirement, according to his friend Sir Michael Caine.
Connery, who turned 81 on Thursday, will never star in a film again, Caine has declared.
"I phoned him the other day, but we never see each other because he doesn't move around a lot now," the Telegraph quoted him as saying.
"He won't make another film now. I just asked him. He said, 'No, I'll never do it,'" he added.
Last year, Caine said: "The movie business retired him because he didn't want to play small parts about old men and they weren't offering him any young parts in romantic leads." (ANI)
