Washington, Aug 25 (ANI): Ashton Kutcher made a joke of David Letterman's death threat from a Muslim extremist by wearing a helmet and bullet-proof vest during an appearance on the TV star's chat show.
An extremist named Umar al-Basrawi urged fellow Muslims to "cut the tongue of this lowly Jew" referring to Letterman after the 'Late Show' host poked fun at alleged terrorist leader Ilyas Kashmiri, who was killed during a U.S. air strike in Pakistan in June.
The threat against the TV personality, who is not Jewish, was made on Shumukh-al-Islam, a popular Internet destination for radical Muslims.
And Kutcher joked about the threat by turning up for his slot on Letterman's show wearing protective gear, along with a sign, which read, "Not Dave".
"You can't be too careful sitting next to a guy that's been fatwa-ed," Contactmusic quoted the actor as saying on the show. (ANI)
