London, Aug 15ANI): Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki may be the reason why Northern Ireland golfer Rory Mcilroy has been smiling despite ending his hopes of winning the USPGA Championship due to a wrist injury.
Mcilroy is now taking a couple of weeks off and will be traveling from Georgia to Cincinnati, Ohio, - also the next destination of Wozniacki, whom he is rumoured to be dating.
"The wrist is fine now. The swelling in the tendon went down, but the muscle is still sore and the pain went up to the inside of my elbow, so if it doesn't improve I'll have another scan," the Sun quoted Mcilroy, as saying.
"But I'm looking forward to a couple of weeks off. I'm just heading to Cincinnati for a few days - I hear it's nice up there this time of year," he added.
Wozniacki will be playing a Masters event in the Ohio city this week. (ANI)
