New Delhi, Aug 11 (ANI): Minister of State for Defence, Dr. MM Pallam Raju, on Thursday felicitated NCC cadets and school children, who would participate in the 65th Independence Day function at the Red Fort.
Addressing the children, Dr. Pallam Raju commended them for their patriotism, zeal and excitement.
He hoped that the children would set an example by upholding the unity and diversity of this country.
The Minister appreciated the children for their turnout, braving sweating heat and humidity.
Dr. Raju, who presented wrist watches as a memento to the children, group leaders and a teacher each of various schools on the occasion, called upon the children to flaunt their mementos on Monday when the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh unfurls the flag from the ramparts of the Red Fort. (ANI)
