London, Aug 11(ANI): England fast bowler Tim Bresnan has hailed his team's "hunting in a pack mentality" after World No.1 Test team India were skittled for 224 on the first day of the Edgbaston Test.
"We've got that 'hunting in a pack mentality'. We enjoy each other's successes and that's great for team spirit going forward," the Sun quoted Bresnan, as saying.
"They have a quality batting line-up, but we've done what we said we would do. It shows how well we are bowling because they are still quality players," he added.
With England opening batsmen Andrew Strauss and Alastair Cook reaching 84-0 at the close of the day's play, Bresnan further said that confidence is sky high.
"We are buzzing - that was a great day of Test cricket and one you would take every time if offered it at the start if play," he said.
Bresnan and Stuart Broad claimed four wickets each, while James Anderson claimed two wickets as the Indian team was bundled out for their fifth successive total of under 300.
England currently leads the four-match series 2-0 and will go top of the Test rankings if they win here. (ANI)
