New Delhi, Aug 10 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld the death sentence for Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorist Mohammad Arif alias Ashfaq in connection with the 2000 Red Fort attack case in which three people were killed.

An apex court bench of Justices V S Sirpukar and T S Thakur dismissed Arif's plea challenging the death sentence awarded to him by a trial court and later affirmed by the Delhi High Court in September 2007.

The LeT militants attacked the high security zone Red Fort on December 22, 2000 in which two soldiers and a civilian was killed. (ANI)
