Northants aiming to keep 'struggling' Team India 'under pressure'

London, Thu, 04 Aug 2011 ANI

London, Aug 4(ANI): Northants captain Andrew Hall has vowed to keep the pressure on India in their two-day tour match, which starts on Friday at Northampton.

The match will follow India's heavy defeats by England in London and Nottingham.

"We've got a strong [bowling] line-up that can really keep them down and get wickets," Hall told BBC Radio.

"It's going to be good to get in there, work them over and get some wickets - to put guys under pressure. We don't want them to have it all their way," he added.

Meanwhile, Indian opening batsman Virender Sehwag will be desperate for some match practice ahead of the third Test against England, which starts on August 10 in Birmingham.

England currently leads the four-match series 2-0. (ANI)
