Has Human Brain achieved full capacity of Intelligence? If we accept the recent theory of British Scientists, the answer is 'YES!'.
According to British Neurobiologists at Cambridge University, Human Brains have reached to full physical limit and cannot further develop, as it requires huge extra energy and oxygen that our body cannot provide.Simon Laughlin, the lead researcher has said to the media that human brain has achieved to its maximum physical capacity and we cannot get any smarter in future. The reason behind is that it requires huge extra energy and oxygen and our body in unable to fulfil it.
According to neurobiologists, the weight of human brain is only 2% of the total body weight but brain alone spends 20% of our physical energy.
The logic behind this theory is, 'our brain cells cannot be much smaller than its current physical status. It has reached to its optimum position.' The theory also says that there are no room for better 'wiring' in human brain. Here, the term wiring means the inter-connection of the different parts of the brain. The efficient wiring means the smarter person. The cleverest people have best wiring.
The human intelligence has limit and you pay the price for intelligence, said Ed Bullmore, a professor of psychiatry at Cambridge. "Becoming smarter means improving connections between different brain areas but this runs into tight limits on energy, along with space for the wiring,", he added.
