Washington, August 01 (ANI): The songs Amy Winehouse recorded before her untimely death a week ago were inspired by her divorce from Blake Fielder-Civil and are set to get a posthumous release next year.
The album will give an account of the tumultuous two years of her marriage and divorce with Fielder-Civil.
"Amy always had a notebook on her and would write down lyrics and ideas," Contactmusic quoted a spokesperson for Amy's family as saying.
"People who have heard the new songs say that they are very, very good and that they are as autobiographical as ever," he stated.
"The period after 2006 was when Amy went through the most emotional upheaval, with Blake going to prison and then their divorce," he added.
All earnings will be donated to a charity set up by Winehouse's father Mitch for people struggling with addiction. (ANI)
