London, July 29 (ANI): Madonna's 'W.E.' is all set to be screened at the Venice Film Festival this year.
The royal drama directed by Madonna is a film about King Edward VIII's romance with American divorcee Wallis Simpson, the BBC reported.
British actress Andre Riseborough plays Mrs. Simpson in the flick, contrasting her scandalous relationship with a contemporary romance.
The Film Festival will be held from 31st August to 10th September, with 21 movies running for the Golden Lion award. (ANI)
