Melbourne, July 26 (ANI): Film director Steven Spielberg has been fined 172 euros after mooring a speedboat too close to swimmers off Sardinia's coast.
According to the Telegraph, Spielberg, 64, was getting dropped off at a beach near Porta Liscia with a group of friends that included actress Gwyneth Paltrow, the Daily Telegraph reported.
The tender from his 280-foot (85m) yacht is said to have got too near to tourists who were swimming.
Local laws ban boats with engines from being within 300m of the shore. (ANI)
