Washington, July 22 (ANI): British actor Daniel Craig initially refused to star in 'James Bond' movies and becoming the successor to Pierce Brosnan 007 as he had no interest in playing the iconic superspy.
The script of 'Casino Royale' was too good for Craig to resist after which he finally gave his approval to play the character.
"I was like, 'This is silly. I've got a career. I mean, lovely, thank you very much, I'm very honoured that you would even consider it, but I can't do it - sorry," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Entertainment Weekly Magazine.
"(But) it was a good script. I went, 'OK, yeah, I understand'," he added. (ANI)
