Shanghai, July 22 (ANI): Australian swimming beauty Stephanie Rice unveiled her new slimline frame on the pool deck in Shanghai today, and then said she's primed to defend her Olympic titles in London next year.
Rice, who had shoulder surgery late last year, said she is relaxed and ready to take on the world as she heads into her final major swimming meet before next year's London Olympics.
Rice will contest the 200m individual medley, 400m individual medley and 200m butterfly in Shanghai.
"Coming off from a high in Beijing I wasn't too motivated to train, just hitting the pinnacle, it was hard to reset goals and be motivated for competition and racing again," the Herald Sun quoted her, as saying.2009 was a bit of an off year. 2010 having surgery was really disappointing. I feel like now I've really got my training back on track and I am motivated a lot more. I am really looking forward to racing which I haven't done for a while," she added.
"Getting back down to my Beijing skin fold - was a really good tick for me, that's one of the most important things is being at right weight and being physically ready to race. I am looking forward to seeing how I can go after a pretty good preparation," Rice said. (ANI)
