London, July 19 (ANI): Katy Perry and husband Russell Brand have taken to Twitter to rubbish rumours of their split, insisting that their marriage of eight months is just fine.
Perry, 26, trashed a recent report that claimed the couple was trying a trial separation, saying that just because they kept their relationship private, it didn't mean there was trouble in it.
"Just cause we don't flaunt our relationship doesn't mean there's something wrong w/it. Privacy is our luxury. #tabloidsrtrash #gossipisgross," the Daily Mail quoted Perry as tweeting.
Brand, 36, later on posted a message on the same site supporting his wife.
The couple tied the knot in a ceremony in India in October last year. (ANI)
