Washington, July 18 (ANI): Pop singer-songwriter Lady Gaga has fallen victim to hackers who broke into her UK website and stole thousands of fan details, including names and email addresses.
"The hackers took a content database dump from www.ladygaga.co.uk and a section of email, first name and last name records were accessed. There were no passwords or financial information taken," Contactmusic quoted a representative from Gaga's record label Universal as telling Britain's Daily Mirror.
"We take this very seriously and have put in place additional measures to protect personally identifiable information. All those affected have been advised," the rep added.
Gaga has informed cops about the incident.
Hackers have also targeted other artists recently including Amy Winehouse and Justin Bieber. (ANI)
