New York, July 16 (ANI): Justine Bieber's 'Someday' fragrance is all set to become the best- selling scent of the year, as it has already raked in 3 million dollars in just three weeks at Macy's Herald Square.
And according to reports, if fans continue buying it at this pace, the fragrance might turn out to be the best seller of 2011.
"We haven't seen anything like this since [Jennifer Lopez's] Glow and [Britney Spears'] Curious," the New York Daily News quoted industry analyst Karen Grant as telling Women's Wear Daily.
The fruity scent that was launched on June 24 has surpassed the sales of previous champion Beyonce Knowles' scent 'Heat', which made the same amount of money in sales at Macy's in its first month.
"Justin Bieber's Someday fragrance, propelled by Justin's incredible personal appearance at Macy's Herald Square has resonated with our customers and has become the biggest celebrity fragrance launch on record," said Terry Lundgren, president and chairman of Macy's Inc. (ANI)
