Bhopal/Jammu, July 15 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists staged a protest in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal city on Friday over Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi's comments on the serial blasts in Mumbai.

Irate activists took out a protest march in the city with Gandhi's effigy and shouted slogans against him.

Further criticizing Gandhi, the protestors stated that he needs primary education for he is unaware of the country's history and culture.

"Rahul Gandhi is unaware of the country's history, culture hence he needs primary education. The activists of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Bhopal have decided to go to Model Higher Secondary School in the capital and have brought the form for his admission," said Alok Sharma, BJP District President.

"We would request the school to impart primary education to Gandhi so that he does not give such immature comments in the future," he added.

Meanwhile, the BJP leaders in Jammu took out a similar protest.

"Rahul Gandhi is not acting like the General Secretary of the Congress, rather he is speaking like a separatist leader that such incidents would continue to occur. One of their (federal government) ministers is attending a fashion show while the country is reeling under the threat of militancy," said Manish Sharma, the head of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, BJP's youth wing.

Congress General Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said that it was virtually impossible to stop all terrorist attacks, though every attempt was being made by the government and security agencies to do so.

"We will stop 99 percent of the (militant) attacks. But one percent of attacks might get through and that is what I am saying," he told mediapersons in Bhubaneswar.

At least 18 persons have died and another 134 persons are reported to have been injured. The condition of around 13 persons is reported to be critical.

The three serial blasts rocked Opera House at 6: 54 p.m., Zaveri Bazaar, a popular jewellery market, at 6: 55 p.m., and Kabutar Khana, Dadar at 7: 06 p.m. on July 13. (ANI)
