London, July 15 (ANI): YouTube has suspended Lady Gaga's official channel on the site following 'severe violations' of its Copyright Policy.
People who click on it to see its content can now just view a message that states the violation.
"This account has been suspended due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube's Copyright Policy," the BBC quoted it as saying.
According to online reports, the step was caused by a disagreement between the star and a Japanese media company.
The footage of Lady Gaga's appearance on 'SMAP X SMAP', a weekly TV show in Japan, where she sang her numbers like 'Born This Way', 'You and I' and 'The Edge of Glory', has been removed from other websites as well.
According to a report, the copyright violation claim is from Media Interactive Inc.
YouTube owner Google did not however comment on the issue.(ANI)
