Wellington, July 8 (ANI): New Zealand has ended the women's one-day cricket quadrangular series on a disappointing loss after 32-run loss to India in the third-fourth playoff at Aston Rowant, England.
Another steady and disciplined bowling and fielding effort restricted India to just 150 all out in the 47th over, the White Ferns did not bat well and were all out for 118 in just the 41st over.
Having failed to make the final of the Twenty20 series, today's result completed a tour of disappointing results the White ferns.
England won the one-day final, beating Australia by 34 runs at Wormsley, stuff.co.nz reports.
New Zealand started the match promisingly, with Kate Broadmore knocking the top off the Indian batting lineup and the rest of the attack chipping in at regular intervals as the final five Indian wickets fell for just 16 runs.
Broadmore ended with innings-best figures of three for 33 from 10 overs while opening bowler Sian Ruck conceded just nine runs from her 10 overs, including five maidens. (ANI)
