London, July 6 (ANI): British actress Elizabeth Hurley is all set to join the cast of the hit American show 'Gossip Girl' as a sexy, smart and self-made media mogul.
According to TV Line, the actress would be in be playing the role Diana Payne and would appear in a number of episodes for the fifth series of the show.
Executive producers Stephanie Savage and Joshua Safran have said that Hurley's character is "a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with".
"Diana's entrance on the Upper East Side will change the lives of all our characters - including, and especially Gossip Girl herself," the Daily Mail quoted the executive producers as telling TV Line.com.
"Elizabeth's sense of humour, intelligence and beauty fit the GG world perfectly. We feel very fortunate to have her," they added. (ANI)
