London, June 30 (ANI): Ashley Cole has turned to music mogul Jay-Z in a bid to launch his career in the music world.
The 30-year-old Chelsea and England footballer visited Jay-Z's offices at the star's Roc Nation offices in Manhattan to talk about starting his music business.
According to sources, Ashley spent an hour inside the Manhattan headquarters of the '99 Problems' rapper' after flying from Los Angeles to New York, reports the Daily Mail.
The football star is said to be keen to launch himself in the music business once his career as a footballer is over.
It could be another step to impress his ex-wife Cheryl Cole who he is trying win back.
It is also thought that Jay-Z, who is a shrewd businessman and entrepreneur, is looking at ways to make money from football too, so is in discussion with Ashley.
Ashley apparently first met Jay-Z at a concert in 2009 and the pair has reportedly remained friendly ever since. (ANI)
