Klitschko warns Hayes not to wear sick T-shirt again

London , Thu, 09 Jun 2011 ANI

London, June 9 (ANI): Wladimir Klitschko has dared heavyweight title rival David Haye to repeat his sick T-shirt stunt.

Haye's controversial top picturing him holding the decapitated heads of Klitschko and his brother Vitali has been in mothballs for two years.

IBF and WBO champ Klitschko and WBA king Haye meet in a unification bout in Hamburg on July 2 with a personal divide running deep beneath the sporting rivalry.

The Sun quoted the giant Ukrainian, as saying: "The T-shirt business showing him with our heads off was totally stupid. I strongly believe he feels really bad about it now even if he says he has no regrets."

He added: "If he had no regrets he would wear that T-shirt one more time. But he does not want to because it was stupid. You can promote a fight in different ways but you cannot do it the way he did. He definitely crossed the line."

"Boxing is a sport for gentlemen. Even the best of enemies like Joe Louis and Max Schmeling shook hands. He does not give any respect. He does not want to shake hands. If you take a look back in the history of boxing, this cockiness has been punished... and it is going to be punished," Klitschko warned. (ANI)
