London, Mar 19 (ANI): Eccentric singer Lady Gaga has been named the recipient of the Council of Fashion Designers of America's Style Icon Award.
The 'Poker Face' hitmaker will be honoured at a gala in New York in June, reports the Daily Star.
CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg and executive director Steven Kolb recently announced the nominees and honorees for the annual prizegiving.
Designer Marc Jacobs will be honoured with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award. He has also been nominated in the Competitive Womenswear Designer of the Year category. (ANI)
