London, Mar 16 (ANI): England is all set to replace fast bowler Jimmy Anderson, who has struggled to find form during the World Cup, with Chris Tremlett for Thursday's crucial game against West Indies.
Anderson is the only bowler of the England attack to avoid injury throughout this demanding winter, but the demands of an Ashes series and the one-day games against Australia before the World Cup have taken their toll.
Tremlett, who took 17 wickets in three Ashes Tests, will replace Anderson.
Tremlett has been with England throughout the World Cup campaign as a non-playing reserve and was only promoted to the full squad when Chris Broad succumbed to his second serious injury of the winter.
England's preparations have not been helped by concerns over Andrew Strauss and Graeme Swann, who both missed training yesterday through illness. (ANI)
