Orissa writer Avinash Patra receives invitation for William-Kate wedding

Khariar, Mar 10(ANI): Avinash Patra, 21-year-old Indian writer from Orissa's Khariar town on Thursday confirmed that he has been invited for the upcoming royal wedding of British Prince William and Kate Middleton on April 29 at Westminster Abbey in UK.

 

The invitation letter was issued in the name of Queen Elizabeth II, bearing the stamp of the monarch's EIIR cypher.

 

Patra said the invitation is a blessing of Hindu god Lord Krishna, on whom most of his books are based.

 

"I Feel proud about it. First as an Indian first and then as a devotee of Lord Krishna,

 

Patra has authored books such as 'Separation of Godhead' and 'My Dear Sweetheart'.

 

"I have written 12 books on Lord Krishna and Shrimati Radha Rani (Lord Krishna's consort). Two books have already selected by Queen Elizabeth II and Oxford University Press to inaugurate British Author of the Year 2010," Patra added.

 

The iconic royal wedding will be a lavish affair with a budget of ?12 million and will be attended by 600 renowned personalities of the world. (ANI)
