Nevada (US), Feb 26 (ANI): Golden Globe winner Hollywood star Martin Sheen (The West Wing) reportedly says that all of Europe and the Spanish government is far beyond the curve in dealing with gypsy communities through education and housing and inclusion in the community.
Actor-director-producer Sheen, 70, is "proud" of a long scene in his new film "The Way" involving Roma community in Burgos (Spain). "The Way" is releasing in United Kingdom on April 15 and tells the story of an American father who travels to France to recover the body of his estranged son. Directed by Emilio Estevez and shot in Spain, France, and USA; it stars Sheen, Estevez and James Nesbitt.
Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, has urged Sheen to undertake the cause of apartheid of 15-million Roma (Gypsy) people of Europe. (ANI)
