Libyan Embassy in Delhi sympathizes anti-government protests

New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): The Libyan Embassy in New Delhi has sympathized with the families of the people, who have lost their lives during protests against the regime of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.

 

The Libyan Embassy in a statement to Al Jazeera said: "We show our sympathy for the souls of our martyrs, who died for the freedom of Libya. We announce our fully alignment for the people's revolution of February 17."

 

"We announce that we represent the Libyan people and its civil establishments and we do not represent the former regime, which violated the religion and tradition and international conventions and human rights," the statement added.

 

The Embassy further noted that the bloods of Libyan people is very precious and that we would not bargain it at any cost and the revolution will be succeeded on the tyrant.(ANI)
