London, Feb 12 (ANI): Chelsea's bid to retain their Premier League title is all but over, according to team coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Ancelotti now he wants his players to put all their efforts into the Champions League and make sure they qualify for Europe's top competition next season.
"It's difficult for us to believe we can still come back and fight for the title now. We must be honest and admit the gap will be tough to close," The Sun quoted the Blues boss, as saying.
Chelsea are currently 10 points behind leaders Manchester United with just 13 games left. They are currently at fourth place thanks to a superior goal difference to Tottenham.
"Our aim is very clear. We must focus on the Champions League and FA Cup while in the Premier League we must finish in the top four. Fourth place is the minimum. We must fight with the other teams because the most important step is to maintain Chelsea's presence in the Champions League," Ancelotti said. (ANI)
