London, Jan 31(ANI): Middlesbrough striker Leroy Lita pumped litres of the wrong gas into his new Range Rover, only realising his mistake when he got to the till.ccording to the Sun, Lita filled his diesel motor with 80 pounds worth of petrol.
The 26-year-old however spared himself the embarrassment of breaking down on the road by getting his car towed from the garage forecourt.
"It's a new car which is diesel and Leroy's old one was petrol, so he is used to filling up with that," the tabloid quoted Lita's friend, as saying.
"It's just a daft mistake like a lot of people make, but it's all sorted now and he's got the car back," he added. (ANI)
