Microsoft allowed the Teams customers to access and update the Dynamics 365 data from within Teams chat. Employees of the customers having access to the Teams can view and update the Data Stored in the Dynamics 365 from within the Teams chat.
Now the Microsoft Teams customers will be provided with the extra permission without extra cost to access and edit the data stored in Dynamics 365. As per the company statement this licenses is given without extra cost.
Microsoft announced this during the kickoff of Microsoft's annual Inspire partner conference, the change in licensing will "present an incredible opportunity for our partners to connect with the 145 million daily active users in Teams and expand their total addressable market." Microsoft executives Jared Spataro and Alysa Taylor posted details of the announcement on the Microsoft official website.
This feature will help Microsoft Teams customers in better management of Dynamics 365 data and well collaborate without extra licensing cost.
Spataro and Taylor further added that the applicable Dynamics 365 apps become "one of Microsoft's first hero collaborative apps."
According to the post "No other technology vendor offers this kind of integration and accessibility across the organization without the need to pay for multiple underlying software licenses."
The new feature will enable Dynamics 365 users to invite anyone in the organization having Teams access inside Teams chat or channel. Then the invited user will be able to view and update Dynamics content inside Teams interface. Company is focusing on providing features for better collaboration while working with sales opportunities, customers, contacts, and cases.
