Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal should understand after the authentication Degree by the Registrar all students of Delhi University now take it not as challenge to PM's Degree but as a challenge to their degrees as all bear the signatures of the Registrar-Satish Upadhyay

New Delhi, 12th May: Delhi BJP President Shri Satish Upadhyay has said that it appears that Aam Aadmi Party and its leader Arvind Kejriwal are bent upon destroying all autonomous institutions. From time to time he has indulged in several destructive activities but during last few months Kejriwal and his new found political supporters have made Jawahar Lal Nehru University a political battle ground and downgraded its prestige.
 
Continuing his tirade, now Kejriwal is bent upon tarnishing the image of the Delhi University. Some of the best students of the country study at Delhi University. Like the degrees issued by all Universities, the degrees issued by Delhi University too bear the signatures of Vice Chancellor and the Registrar.

Shri Upadhyay said that the Registrar of the University is the prime authentication authority of any University and the false controversy over Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi's degree raked up by Aam Aadmi Party should have ended with the statement of authentication issued by the registrar. Had this matter been in a Court, there too the matter would have been decided as per the statement of the Registrar. Unfortunately Kejriwal party is bent upon destroying the autonomy of Delhi University and is now trying to malign the reputation of this University and its Registrar. Reacting to the efforts to bring in the issue of computerization in the matter of P.M.'s Degree dispute Shri Satish Upadhyay has said that raking up this issue is a proof of AAP leaders' lack of knowledge. Records in offices and universities are being digitalized and commenting on this shows that Kejriwal party has no connect with the development activities. They are here just to indulge in dirty politics over every issue.
