OUP launches new integrated learning solution

New Delhi, Dec 10 (IANS) Oxford University Press (OUP) has launched a new integrated learning solution that can provide schools, students, parents as well as teachers with a novel comprehensive educational tool kit, a statement said on Friday.

Aligned to the CBSE board curriculum, "Oxford Advantage" is a part of its holistic approach and includes content both in print and digital mediums, the company statement said.

"Oxford Advantage is a product designed to deliver on almost every element of modern-day school education through digitally-rich interactive learning resources combined with print content," said Sivaramakrishnan V, Managing Director, Oxford University Press India.

"Based on cross-disciplinary and theme-based learning modules, this solution will enable superior learning outcomes for CBSE schools in the country," he Sivaramakrishnan added.

Currently, Oxford Advantage offers subjects such as English, Hindi, EVS and Mathematics for classes one and two. For class three subjects include English, Hindi, Science, Social Studies and Mathematics.

The learning solution will be extended up to class eight over the next two years

It also includes lesson plans, question banks, test generator, teacher training and professional development modules, assessment tools for use in school and at home

It will also enable parents to stay completely updated on their child's performance and progress from accessing the Oxford Advantage app.

Oxford Advantage also focuses heavily on the teacher community by helping them maintain an ascending learning curve through a sustained, planned program of professional development and training workshops, the statement said.
