Chennai, Nov 23 (IANS) Popular city-based model Arthi Venkatesh is making her acting debut with upcoming Malayalam-Tamil drama "Solo" and is thrilled to be alongside actor Dulquer Salmaan in the film.
"I'm a huge fan of Dulquer's work and I'm thrilled to be making my cinematic debut opposite him. We have completed the first schedule in Kerala and the experience so far has been adventurous," Arthi told IANS.
The film is being directed by Bejoy Nambiar, and Arthi was supposed to work with the "Shaitan" filmmaker earlier.
"A few months ago, Bejoy signed me on for one of his projects and got me to get trained in acting. Unfortunately, the project never took off and when he approached me again for 'Solo', I accepted the offer immediately," she said.
The film will feature four more heroines, and Bejoy is in the process of finalising the rest.
Apart from Kerala, "Solo" will also be shot in Tamil Nadu, Mumbai and Ladakh.
