Mumbai, July 07, 2015: Muzaffar Ali has released the first poster of his upcoming film 'Jaanisaar'. The intriguing poster features debutant Pernia Qureshi with Pakistani heartthrob Imran Abbas Naqvi, who look like a couple deeply in love. The duo appears to be in an embrace unwilling to leave each other side.
'Jaanisaar' is Muzaffar Ali's comeback to Hindi cinema after 30 years. After the splendor of 'Umrao Jaan' captured the nation, Muzaffar Ali promises to transport the audience to another era with this film. The love story is set in the pre-independence era showcasing the turmoil of the period. The trailer is set for release today, July 7, 2015.
Set 20 years after the first war of Indian independence in 1857, 'Jaanisaar' essays the love story of a revolutionary courtesan of Avadh, and a prince brought up in England. The film has been produced by Muzaffar Ali and Meera Ali. The film is set for release on August 21, 2015.
