Mumbai, July 13, 2015: Popular Indian band, Euphoria will come together to support the upcoming film 'Aisa Yeh Jahaan'. Starring Dr. Palash Sen, Ira Dubey, Kymsleen Kholie and Saurabh Pandey, it is India’s first carbon neutral film. The film highlights the important urban concerns of today. To be held on 13th July, Palash Sen, along with his band Euphoria will perform live at a concert in Arunachal Pradesh to their hit songs like Maaeri, Dhoom Pichuk and the music of 'Aisa Yeh Jahaan'. The cast and crew of the film will also be present at the event.
The film has a strong connection with Arunachal Pradesh. Producers Maya Kholie and Kezleen Kholie hail from the state along with Kymsleen Kholie who plays a key character in the film. Since the release of the trailer and music, the film has been receiving wide recognition. The film addresses various social issues in a non-preachy manner with some brilliant performances.
Shot across Mumbai and Assam, Aisa Yeh Jahaan is a film that depicts the relationship between a husband and wife, the ever growing human detachment with nature and people's attitude towards the physiology of a child's growth which is portrayed in a light-hearted yet satirical fashion. Being India's first Carbon Neutral Film, it has won a lot of international recognition and awards including International Film Awards for Environment, Health and Culture 2015, Silver Award at San Francisco 2015, amongst others. The film has tied up with CERE (Center for Environmental Research and Education) which works extensively on mapping carbon footprint, meet international reporting standards, and implement low-cost carbon reduction strategies. The team have planted more than 300 trees across India.
'Aisa Yeh Jahaan (THE WORLD IT IS..)' stars Dr. Palash Sen, Ira Dubey, Yashpal Sharma, Tinnu Anand, Kymsleen Kholie, Saurabh Pandey, Prisha Dabbas. Written and directed by Biswajeet Bora & produced by Maya Kholie under Kholie Entertainment. The film has been co-produced by Kezleen Kholie & Associate Producer Satish Sharma. The film is set for release on July 24, 2015.
Maya Kholie, the producer, is highly self-motivated individual who believes in shepherding the right talent & creating magic in the final output. A member of the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA), she formed a production company – Kholie Entertainment and made the documentary, -Angel of the Aboriginals: Dr Verrier Elwin, in 2009 which has showcased many international film festivals such as "BOLLYWOOD BEYOND FILM FESTIVAL" in Germany, IUAES in Turkey. Now she is producing India's First Carbon Neutral Film - "Aisa Yeh Jahaan".
