Sharmistha Mukherjee, Congress candidate from Greater Kailash assembly constituency has said that she will incorporate Greater Kailash Constituency into the cultural map of Delhi. She said that she will promote cultural events, park festivals within the constituency.
She also added that themed festivals in the different markets of Greater Kailash to make them a happening place. She also emphasized on the need of building a performance space that is of international standard.
After saraswati puja, Sharmistha also held various meetings where she appealed people to vote for her. She also reassured that she will be promoting accountability, better representation, development and facilities for the constituency if she gets the chance to represent in the legislature.
“The job of an MLA is to legislate. I will bring Bills to tackle issues like Uber case. Company must have the responsibility to have a dedicated team of random checks and track cabs based on GPS” said Mukherjee on ensuring safety and security.
She was visiting various Puja Pandals and also attended Saraswati puja at various locations in CR Park.
